Description: 90 minutes from Minneapolis, MN Medical Center is seeking Locum Hematology/Oncology physician to provide coverage at our OP Infusion & Oncology Clinic --Start date: as soon as mid-August. (Likely need to target September 14 or early October start) --6-month contract with option to extend --FTE highly preferred. May consider splitting coverage between two locums providers. --Prefer onsite and one provider throughout contract, but open to discussions about some telehealth coverage. --Patients Per Day: 13-20 --No call --Support Staff: Will have LPN and RN support. APP support being added soon --Scope of Practice: No radiation. --Infusion clinic, Imaging, Nuc Med, Pet Scan, CT & MRI, Ultrasound, Lab in house for blood draws. Palliative Care, Telehealth. --Charting: 24-hour completion is expected --Community-based oncology practice with access to a larger integrated cancer network (AHCI) across metro and regional sites. --Broad outpatient oncology and hematology — solid tumors and hematologic conditions requiring active management --Patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive therapies --Clinical trial access through MMCORC and NCI-supported programs --Onsite team & resources - Oncology Nurse Navigator, clinic RNs/LPNs, infusion nursing team, and research nurse - Radiology onsite — PET (including PSMA), MRI, and CT — plus full lab - Oncology social worker, dietitian, mental health support, and financial navigation - Palliative care, genetic counseling, cancer rehabilitation, and survivorship services
