Description: Central Pennsylvania facility seeking a Locum Hospitalist Physician --Ongoing coverage needed --Shift Details: 12-hour shifts (7AM - 7PM or 7 PM – 7 AM or 11 AM - 11 PM) --Will mostly be days --Schedule: 12-16 shifts per month MINIMUM --No call --Support Staff: 10 Physicians, 6 Physician Assistants; Intensivist support during prime hours --Patients per day: 18+ patients; low-level PA supervision --Patient Population/Age: Adult (18+) --Well-established hospitalist group with 12+ years of experience. Collegial environment with strong specialty support including Critical Care, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care. --No trauma; ~35,000 ER visits annually. Coverage includes 12 ICU beds for vents and basic ICU care (especially nights and some weekends). --EMR: EPIC --Skills Required: Inpatient hospitalist experience; ability to manage ICU-level patients (basic care) --Closed ICU --Required: BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, PA license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, ACLS --Minimum Experience Required: At least 270 inpatient encounters in past 12 months OR completion of ARC-PA program within past 12 months
