Description: Facility is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to be to join our a rural community partner site, establishing a dedicated local GI presence for an underserved population - Balanced outpatient clinical management and advanced endoscopic procedures - Routine endoscopy including colonoscopies and EGDs to screen, diagnose, and treat colorectal cancer, polyps, ulcers, and GI bleeding - Chronic disease management including IBD (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis), IBS, Celiac disease, and GERD - Hepatobiliary care including liver diseases (cirrhosis, hepatitis, fatty liver) and pancreaticobiliary disorders - Lead local colorectal cancer screening initiatives - Coordinate with local primary care providers for referrals; seamless pathway to tertiary facilities for patients requiring specialized inpatient or surgical interventions - Michigan medical license and DEA registration required or ability to obtain - J VISA OK H VISA OK
