Description: Seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician --Outpatient and inpatient role --Standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm) --Protected administrative time (4 hours per week) --Call Schedule: Shared call schedule, approximately 1:2 rotation for after-hours oncology consultations --Support Staff: The physician will have access to a dedicated nurse, APPs, and a specialized oncology nursing team --3 Physicians and 1 APP currently --Cerner EMR --Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day --Patient Census: Primarily adult patients with a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders, from early-stage to advanced. --Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, many with complex care needs. --40% Oncology and 60% Hematology --Visit types: Initial cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, chemotherapy follow-ups, and management of hematologic conditions like anemia and clotting disorders. --Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies, port insertions, chemotherapy administration, and oversight of clinical trials. --Sign-on Bonus: $35k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition. --Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses - Base Compensation: 450k – 500k +/- --Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match --Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt --CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $3k a year --Malpractice Insurance/Tail Coverage: Coverage provided by facility --Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance (24 Days PTO)
