Description: Medical Center is seeking BC/BE General Surgeon to join our employed established team - Clinic Hours: 8a-5p M-F - Schedule: 36 patient care hours 4 admin; Clinic two full days, designated clinic/surgery days - Call: 1:3, 5 days/mo built into contract – opportunity to pick up additional call/pay - Average # of patients seen per day: 20-25 patients per day (when ramped) - Hospital-employment - Joining 2 General Surgeons (1 full-time, 1 part-time, 1 one weekend/month) - Bread & Butter procedures - No robotics - Scopes required - Covering one hospital only with all surgeries and scopes done at the hospital - No trauma - Hospitalist team for admissions - Our General Surgery team has 70 years’ combined experience and provides strong mentorship. - Compensation base salary starts at $450K DOE + wRVU production incentive - $5K CME allowance - $50K Sign-on bonus - 25+ days PTO - $15K relocation allowance - Student loan repayment assistance - Health benefits - 401(k) retirement plan - Medical malpractice insurance/tail coverage - Residency stipend - Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of MS and DEA with full prescriptive authority required

Community/Facility info: Medical Center is a 165-bed acute-care general hospital that includes a 35-bed nursing home. Medical campus also features the Medical Office Building and an Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility with staff offering adult and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as an aquatic therapy program.
