Description: Hospital is seeking Locum Pediatric Hospitalist to provide coverage starting June 2026 --Call coverage - 1 weekend/month. Not inhouse-Can take call from hotel/home, but call response time is 30 minutes. --Schedule: Friday 5p-Monday 7a (scrict schedule - no accomodiations) --Must be willing to start and work these dates: June 5 Noon through June 8 7AM June 19 Noon through June 22 7AM --Patient Volume/Type: Coverage is newborn nursery, ER Coverage, and inpatient med-ped unit --Inpatient volume will be very small - maybe 1-2 kiddos total (if that) --Newborn Nursery - Average of 5 babies over the weekend in the nursery --ER Coverage - 2-3 calls per day, generally able to be handled over the phone --Will need to round at least once daily Saturday & Sunday in the inpatient unit & the nursery, otherwise it can be phone call coverage unless they need to come in to handle the issue --Must know how to intubate and place lines; stabilize infants in case baby needs to be shipped. Does not need to circumcise. --Experience required: Newer grads okay. Board Eligible okay, Board Certified preferred --Required: AR license, DEA, Covid and Flu vaccine
