Description: Acute Care Hospital is seeking locum BC/BE Pediatrician Hospitalist to provide call coverage 1 weekend per month - Start Date: 10/13/2025 - Friday at 5p – Monday 7am - Can take call from home, call response time is 30 minutes - Reason for opening: Physician out for back surgery - 24 Hour On Call - Coverage is newborn nursery, ER Coverage, and inpatient med-ped unit - Inpatient volume will be very small - maybe 1-2 kids total - Newborn Nursery - Average of 5 babies over the weekend in the nursery - ER Coverage - 2-3 calls per day, generally able to be handled over the phone - Will need to round at least once daily Saturday & Sunday in the inpatient unit & the nursery, otherwise it can be phone call coverage unless they need to come in to handle the issue - Must know how to intubate and place lines; stabilize infants in case baby needs to be shipped. - Does not need to circumcise - EMR: Cerner - New grads okay - Required: AR license, DEA, Covid and Flu vaccine
