Description: Medical center is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to help establish a full-scope GI practice within a growing health system - Clinic schedule: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm; Friday 8am–12pm - Hospital-employed role with full administrative and operational support; 1099 PSA option available if preferred - Inpatient and outpatient mix; proportions shaped by candidate preference and demand - No existing dedicated GI provider on site — high community need with substantial referral volume ready from day one - 20–25 patients per clinic session - Colonoscopies and EGDs currently performed by surgical team; ERCP preferred but not required - Strong opportunity to expand GI procedural offerings and volumes - Approximately 10 GI ER call days per month; general surgeons continue to share GI call - Two NPs available for GI support with plans to add additional NP as volumes grow - Opportunity to teach Family Medicine residents who rotate through specialty departments - Dedicated office space in a modern practice environment - Opportunity to participate in clinical research and trials - Competitive MGMA-aligned compensation - Student loan repayment assistance and relocation assistance - CME funds and licensure support - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits
