Description: Hospital is seeking Locum CNM to provide coverage starting ASAP - Current dates available: July 13-17 - Schedule: 12hr shifts, 7a-7p or 7p -7a (needing 2 providers, 1 to work days, and 1 to work nights) - No call - Avg. Daily Census: 4 to 5 deliveries but could be up to 20. - Patient Age Group: adults and infants - EMR/Charting Software: epic - Procedures: Triage calls, and supporting residents. - Manages postpartum care, Intrapartum care, and OB triage. - There is NO first assist. This is a high acuity assignment. - There is inpatient delivery and post op care and ambulatory care. - Locum would be taking calls during shift. - Will need to be able to read fetal monitoring. - The locum will support residents as well - Provide consultation services - Complete history and physical examinations and laboratory tests as appropriate - Continues assessment and teaching throughout pregnancy as indicated by documentation - Manages normal labor and conducts delivery, including assessment of maternal and fetal status - Identifies deviations from normal, management of the third stage, management of episiotomy and perineal repairs. - Required: MA license, Board Certification, NRP, BLS, at least 3 yrs experience (must be hospital based)
