Description: Facility is seeking a Board-Certified Addiction Medicine Physician to serve as the Section Leader for Addiction and Recovery Medicine - This is a pivotal leadership role within a rapidly expanding Division of Behavioral Health. - Lead Physician will spearhead the growth of outpatient services and provide high-level clinical oversight and direct patient care within the outpatient addiction program. - Drive the strategic expansion of services to meet significant community demand. - Report directly to the Medical Director and System Director to shape the next phase of the Sections evolution. - Develop novel and innovative methods to care for patients that are geographically separated by distance from facility are needed as the next phase of growth. - Lead a dedicated team, historically comprised of two physicians, an RN, an Addiction Psychotherapist, and robust administrative staff. - For candidates with a track record or interest in clinical research, we can provide the infrastructure for grant writing, submission, and maintenance. - Generous paid time off to enjoy the Beautiful Southwest Florida weather and beaches! - Sign on bonus & relocation package - Dedicated CME time and funding - Malpractice Insurance and Tail Coverage - 403(b) retirement plan with match and 457(b) enhanced retirement option - Short term/long term disability - Participation in the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program - Board Certification and Fellowship training in Addiction Medicine are highly preferred.
