Description: Seeking a Locum BC OBGYN to help provide coverage --Coverage Needed: All call coverage 7am on Friday, July 31 until 7am on Monday, August 3rd --Established team of 2 Physicians and 4 Nurses --Call, Nights & Weekends (1:3 call schedule) --Call Shared with providers --Not required to remain on-site during call, must respond within 30 minutes --Total inpatient census/day: 6 with 2-3 OB checks/day --# of Surgical cases/mo. (14) --30-40 deliveries per month --No ICU/Critical Care Procedures --Do Not Run Codes --BLS & NRP certifications required --Procedures include C-section, hysterectomies, circumcision, pp tubal, vaginal deliveries, D&C & laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy --3 labor rooms, 16 patient rooms & 6 newborn beds, 2 AWHONN Fetal Monitoring instructors --EMR – EPIC (HealthSpan) --Level II Trauma ED --Medical ICU --Level 1 Nursery --GE Centricity Centralized Fetal Monitoring --Latest Stryker Towers for laparoscopic procedures --24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support --24-hr Surgical Services available --Ortho available 4 days/week --Cardiology, on site 5 days/week --Critical Care via telemedicine --Psychiatry available --24/7 Hospitalist programs (Med-Peds) --Required: NC license and DEA --New providers will need to come in before first call shift to orient.
