Description: Facility is seeking a Locum BC OB/GYN Physician for clinic coverage at our new Women's Care practice - Monday–Friday 8am–5pm - Call coverage dates: October 16 (8am) – October 19 (8am) December 30 (8am) – January 1, 2027 (8am) - 83% inpatient / 17% outpatient - Average 6 patients per day per provider - Average inpatient census: 6 (4–5 patients and 1–2 couplets) - Average 2 admissions per day and 2 admissions per night - 20–30 births per month; approximately 1/3 cesarean sections - Required procedures include vacuum/forceps deliveries, circumcisions, and cesarean sections - If a clinical concern falls outside the CNM's scope, physician is expected to come to the hospital for handoff while CNM covers clinic - Shared call with a rural health group - Collaborative work with Certified Nurse Midwives; APP and midwife support on team - No ICU/critical care duties - No code response required - No ER backup expected
