Description: 90 minutes from Minneapolis, MN seeking Locum Oncologist --OP Infusion & Oncology Clinic --Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM --Prefer onsite and one provider throughout contract, but open to discussions about some telehealth coverage. --6-month contract with option to extend. --FTE highly preferred. May consider splitting coverage between two locums providers. --Patients Per Day: 13-20 --Support Staff: Will have LPN and RN support. APP support being added soon --Scope of Practice: No radiation. --Infusion clinic, Imaging, Nuc Med, Pet Scan, CT & MRI, Ultrasound, Lab in house for blood draws. Palliative Care, Telehealth. --Charting: 24-hour completion is expected --Opportunity to practice full-spectrum medical oncology and hematology in a setting that values continuity of care and relationships. --Multidisciplinary care team onsite and via telehealth, including: Oncology Nurse Navigator, Oncology Clinic RNs and LPNs, Infusion nursing team, Oncology Research nurse --Radiology department onsite. --PETs (including PSMA PETs), MRI, & CT all available on site. --Laboratory dept onsite. --Dedicated Oncology Social worker, dietitian, mental health support, financial navigator access --Oncology Provider Coordinator support -support scheduling --Cancer rehabilitation and survivorship services --Palliative care and genetic counseling (telehealth supported) --Oncology/Infusion Department Nurse Manager --What we treat: - Broad outpatient oncology and hematology population - Solid tumor cancers - Hematologic conditions requiring active management --Patients receiving: - Chemotherapy - Immunotherapy - Oncology supportive therapies --Access to clinical trials --Manage patient care across the full continuum: --New patient consults and diagnosis --Treatment planning and chemotherapy oversight --Ongoing disease management and follow-up --5 Clinic exam rooms. --Infusion center includes: - Open infusion chairs and private treatment rooms (9 chairs, 2 private infusion tx rooms, 2 fast track triage rooms. - Infusion team structured to support - High-acuity oncology treatments - Safe administration and monitoring of therapies --Required: MN license or IMLC
