Description: Myrtle Beach area facility seeking a Locum Gastroenterolgist --Open Dates: - April 20, 2026 (7am) – April 27, 2026 (7am) - May 18, 2026 (7am) – May 25, 2026 (7am) --Beyond May, we are flexible on which week the locum can cover, as long as it is a Monday – Monday stretch and as long as it is consistently one week a month! --The coverage need is for one 7-day stretch a month (Monday 7am – Monday 7 am). --During that week stretch Locum will be responsible for covering 24 hour hospital call, performing scheduled procedures in the Endo lab (half day block), answering consults as they arise, and covering 2-3 HALF days of clinic during that week stretch. --Clinic is required so that Physician can follow the patients that they have seen in the hospital and/or has performed scheduled procedures on. --Clinic hours will likely be 8 a – 11:20 a, we can adjust appointment durations to their preference --Clinic Volume: 3 patients/hour --Clinic has 1 PA as well, and there will be either 1 LPN or 1 MA depending on which is available. --Endo support includes 1 RN, 1 CRNA, and 1 tech. --We also have a Nurse Practitioner that will provide inpatient consult support Monday – Friday from 7am – 1 pm. NP will manage initial consults while Physician is in Endo or office. --Half day of Endo consists of 8 cases a day. --Procedures required: EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex Sig --EMR System: EPIC --Required: BC/BE Gastroenterology, SC license, DEA/CSR --New locum provider must come prior to first shift to complete ½ day of and orientation requirements. This training must be done on a Monday-Friday, and can NOT be done on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday.
