Description: Southern West Virginia Clinic is seeking a Locum BC/BE Cardiologist to provide coverage - 6-month contract with option to extend - 2-3 weeks of coverage per month - 24-hour call - Clinic hours Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm - When on hospital call: clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1pm–4:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday full clinic day, minimal nighttime calls - Patient Volume: 22-24 ppd. New = 30 minutes for new, established = 15 minutes - Evaluation and management of new and established patients; cardiac risk assessment - Required procedures include EKGs, EKG reads, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of treadmill and nuclear stress tests, TEEs, and cardioversions - Support staff includes techs and RNs - Active West Virginia license or IMLC required - DEA and CSR required
