Description: San Antonio, TX area Hospital is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage starting 9/14/2026 - Contract length 3 months to 1 year - Open to Locum-to-Perm or Perm - Shifts: 6am–3pm, 1pm–10pm (Mon–Wed) / 2pm–11pm (Thu–Sun), 9pm–6am nightly - No call - 14 ED rooms + 1 trauma bay, 12 vertical areas, and 6 hallway beds; trauma designation pending - Annual ED volume approximately 35,000 (~95 visits/day); admission rate 17%; average 1.6 patients per hour per physician - Construction approved to add 8 rooms, 1 trauma bay, and fast-track remodel - EMR: Meditech Expanse - BC/EM with ED experience - Active TX license or IMLC required
