Description: Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Oncology Hospitalist (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained) to provide comprehensive inpatient care for adults with solid-tumor and hematologic malignancies - 7 on/7 off; Monday–Sunday; 7am–5pm - Inpatient oncology management including neutropenic fever, tumor lysis syndrome, sepsis, pain crises, and treatment toxicities - Daily admissions, rounds, and discharge planning for oncology patients - Dedicated full-time inpatient APP support - Close collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, palliative care, pharmacy, and nursing - Communication and documentation with outpatient oncologists - Participation in quality initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and evidence-based protocol development - Involvement in APP education and mentorship - Comprehensive on-the-job oncology training and ongoing clinical support provided - Cancer center supported by nurse navigators, dietitians, genetics counselors, clinical trials specialists, physicists, pharmacists, therapists, technologists, oncology nurses, and social workers - Advanced cancer diagnostic services including PET imaging, breast tomosynthesis, Gamma Knife, and an active clinical research program - Six comprehensive cancer centers throughout the region - Not-for-profit health system - Generous compensation with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance - CME allowance and paid malpractice - Excellent benefits package
