Description: Seeking a Locum Gastroenterologist • Coverage needed: - November 24 (7a) – 29 (7a end) - December 23 (5p) – January 5 (7a end) - 2026 dates TBD • 7 days per month to include weekends, take day and night call • Schedule Details: Call will either start 7am Monday through 7am following Monday, or 7am Friday through 7am following Friday (unless otherwise stated). • Providers are typically onsite for 8 hours per day from 8a-5p on Monday-Thursday, and 8a-12p on Fridays (clinic). • Mon-Thurs 7:30a-3:30p is when procedures are done • Fridays 7:30a-1p is when procedures are done • Provider will be rotated between hospital, ambulatory center, and office. • Support staff: Medical Director, Office Supervisor, LPNs, MOA’s, Surgery Schedulers • Department Description: Gastroenterology, rounding on inpatients, completing consults, scoping both inpatient and outpatient, see office patients, follow up care with patients after results. • Standard colonoscopies, EGDs, Flex Sig, etc. • No ERCP or EUS required. • Patient Volume: varies • Patient Age Group: 18+ • EMR: EPIC • Required: Board Certification, PA license, DEA, BLS, ACLS Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse clearance and a FBI criminal history check required.
