Description: Facility seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NICU) --The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) functions as an advanced practice provider delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to neonates in a Level III NICU. --In collaboration with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team, the NNP performs assessment, diagnosis, procedures, and ongoing management of neonates across acuity levels, ensuring safe transitions of care and family-centered support. --The NNP plays a key role in overnight coverage with physician backup on-call, including responding to emergencies, leading resuscitations, and coordinating consultations. --Competitive Pay: Hourly and salaried positions earn market-based compensation. --Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision coverage for part-time and above employees and their eligible dependents beginning within 30 days of hire. --Retirement Savings: Employer-sponsored retirement plan with company contribution and match. --Paid Time Off: Generous ETO for part-time and above employees. --Professional Development: Continue to enhance your education through our tuition reimbursement and tuition repayment program --Additional Benefits: Life insurance, disability coverage, and employee assistance programs. --Preferred: - Prior experience in Level III/IV NICU as NNP - Competence with neonatal procedures - Experience with neonatal transport (intra- or inter-facility), telehealth consults, familiarity with performance improvement, LEAN methods, or clinical pathway development - S.T.A.B.L.E. certification --Required: - Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner focus from an accredited program - Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience as an RN or NNP, however new graduate NNPs with strong Level III practicum will be considered based on department readiness. - Current APRN licensure (or eligibility) as an NNP in the State of Oregon is required - National certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (e.g., NCC) is required - BLS: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA) - NRP and PALS - Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges - Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs - Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
