Description: Facility is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases (surgically trained in retina and vitreous) to join an established ophthalmology program - Full-time, Monday–Friday; call 1:4 (1 week per month); light call with occasional trauma - Inpatient and ER consults and procedures - Experienced full-time corneal disease and refractive surgery ophthalmologist on staff - Equipment includes ultra-widefield camera with autofluorescence and fluorescein angiography, Zeiss Cirrus 5000 OCT, high-quality ophthalmic ultrasound, and retinal laser - Surgical technologist trained in retinal surgery currently on site - Acute care hospital with full complement of referring specialties in-house; open ICU; ORs plus ASC; busy ED; hospitalist support and dedicated nocturnists - State-of-the-art facility and diagnostics - Competitive compensation with wRVU model; sign-on bonus and relocation assistance - Annual performance bonus opportunity; excess call pay stipend available - 401(k) with employer match; generous PTO and CME allowance; paid licensure and professional dues - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage; health, dental, and vision insurance - J VISA OK
