Description: Health Center is seeking a Podiatrist to join team - Provide specialized care in the examination, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of foot disorders — both medically and surgically - See patients on a scheduled and urgent care basis for podiatric conditions including corns, calluses, warts, bunions, hammertoes, fungal nails, ingrown toenails, pedal tumors, heel spurs, Morton's neuroma, and more - Alert to systemic disease manifestations in the foot (diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, arthritis, gout, arteriosclerosis); consult and collaborate with primary care physicians for whole-patient treatment - Complete required medical record documentation using the EHR; comply with CMS Meaningful Use measures - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including Joint Commission and NCQA-PCMH standards - Participate in continuing medical education, quality assurance, and performance improvement activities - 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred; 1–3 year residency for specialized surgical training preferred - Board certification in Podiatric Surgery preferred - Active New York medical license required
