Description: Hospital is seeking Locum BC/BE Anesthesiologist to provide coverage starting 6/30/2025 - Contract Length: 5 weeks (End Date: 08/02/2025) - Shift Details: 5 x 8 – 10.5 - Schedule: Monday through Friday; 630A – 230P or 5P (depending on where anesthesiologist is scheduled). - No call - Support staff: employed CRNAs - Department Description: General anesthesia - Patient Volume: 4 rooms with 3 to 5 cases per room if covering in the main OR potentially some blocks. If staffing Gi, potentially around 20 cases. - Patient Age Group: Adult/geriatric - Department Description: Supervised practice of anesthesiologists and CRNAs. NPs staff pre-surgery clinic. Anesthesia Techs staffed during weekdays. Anesthesia Facilitator CRNA is a resource and handles logistics during weekdays. - Anesthetizing locations: Main OR, Pavilion OR, GI lab, OB, Cath Lab, IR; Assist in ICU and ER - Preferred: ICU Line Placement Skills - Required: Pre-op evaluation; General Anesthesia; Regional Anesthesia; MAC; Obstetric Anesthesia; Outpatient Pediatric Anesthesia Additional Requirements/Details to screen for: Limitation allowed: Cardiac Anesthesia - Equipment: EMR: Cemer Technology in use: GE Avance anesthesia machine; GE Monitoring; Hemosphere; Omnicell Anesthesia Workstation; Glidescope; Belmont; GE ultrasound; Butterfly ultrasound - Required: MO license or IMLC, DEA, Covid Vaccine - Preferred certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
