Description: Northwest Indiana Facility Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join established practice Join 5 physicians and multiple advanced practice providers Ideal candidate will have ERCP experience, an interest in Hepatology and a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Office Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Physician Schedule: 3 - 4 half days in clinic, 3 - 4 half days in surgery, 1 full day off Physician Call 1:5 – Physician takes 1 full week call (Friday 8:00 a.m. – Friday 8:00 a.m.), no clinic during call week only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage Call Friday to Thursday, Rotating Holidays Average Patient Volumes: Half Day Clinic 12 – 15, Half Day Surgery 8 – 10 Practice shares 3 RN’s, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-house Outreach Required: 3 clinics (all within 30 minutes commute) Potential Virtual Visits Shared collaboration between physician for APP’s in group Hospital based Nurse Practitioner sees new consults and rounding ahead of physicians Clinic based Nurse Practitioner Strong mentorship available from senior physician leadership Strong referral base: On average 75 -100 per week for general GI In-Network Oncology Services offering full spectrum, wrap around services Onsite Equipment: BRAVO, Pill Cam, Fibroscan, HD Motility and EndoFlip located at the Surgicenter Advanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary interventions. Community/Facility info: 65-physician owned and operated, multi-specialty group located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. We are also only 25 minutes from the Indiana Dunes along Lake Michigan. Live in or near a major metropolitan area but practice in physician friendly Indiana. We are the dominant supplier of health care in our area with 110,000 active patient files. This opportunity provides a built-in referral base. We have 3 patient care facilities in Northwest Indiana. We have an affiliated 9-bed surgical hospital attached to the Specialty Center where Endocrinology is located. We also have Radiology (including open MRI), lab (Pathologist available Monday-Friday), a full service EKG department, a full service pulmonary lab, an outpatient Physical Therapy Department and a dietitian.
