Description: Seeking BC/BE Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician --Dates: 6+ months --On site rotating through two hospitals Coverage Dates: May 25-27, June 19, June 22-30, July 4-7, August 31-September 2 Hospital 1: Mon-Tues 8-5p Hospital 2: Wed-Thurs unless it is their call week and on that week they add Fri --Temps Available: yes --Total Number of FTE’s needed? 1 FTE for 6+ months. Will consider multiple PT but not Ideal --EMR: EPIC --Call schedule split between 3 hospitals --Be on a every 3rd weeknight call rotation and are on call Monday-Sunday of that week. Inpatient onsite call as needed at Hospital 2 and remote call for Hospital 3 and Hospital 1 unless they are there practicing and want to do an inpatient consult that day while they are onsite. There is very minimal inpatient face to face consult. --Patients per day: 15 --At Hospital 2 the business is about 50/50 Hematology to Oncology and at Hospital 1 we are seeing closer to 70/30 Hematology to Oncology at this time --Supported by 1 mid-level at Hospital 1 and 2-3 mid-levels at Hospital 2, and has a nurse dedicated to the provider at each location. Requirements: Active VA state, CSR and DEA
