Description: Seeking a Critical Care physician The Critical Care team consists of 2.5 Intensivist FTEs and 3 Critical Care Advanced Practice Clinician FTEs The Intensivists function as the attendings for all Medical ICU admissions, and as consultants/co-managers for all Surgical ICU admissions We provide primary in-house day coverage, consult for the ED and inpatient services, and serve as a backup resource for the night in-house Advanced Practice Clinicians Support trainee education and provide supervision for ICU rotations The ICU has experienced nursing representation, strong respiratory care support, and a clinical pharmacist and nutritionist as part of the ICU team Active palliative care support service is integrated into our system of care The culture of the practice is one of collegial professionalism, mutual support, and integrated internal systems of care including shared patient care with our Emergency Department, Hospitalist Program, Anesthesiology and Surgical services Cerner EMR and the GE PACS system Highly competitive base salary, a signing bonus, malpractice, educational loan assistance, and relocation allowance.
